Margot J. Lyon (she/her) is Founder, Principal and Head Consultant of LyonBridge LLC, a consulting firm focused on conflict resolution and strategic communications for corporations, organizations, nonprofits, and communities. She brings more than thirty years of experience in the information and publishing industries with roles in sales, business development, investor relations and public-facing leadership positions for a Wall-street startup, SONY, Thomson Financial, and a global nonprofit library association. Margot is an alumna of the Harvard Mediation Intensive Program, offered by the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.  She also completed an additional 40 hour mediator training program through the Resolution Center, Inc. that fulfills Wisconsin 767 requirements for mediators.  In addition, Margot holds a certificate in facilitation and reflective structured dialogue through Essential Partners and she offers a process to help give people the means to strengthen relationships, deepen belonging, and renew hope in their communities.

Margot holds a BA in Japanese Studies with a Mathematics minor from Earlham College, an MSI in Information Economics, Management, and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Information, and a Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies with a focus on Interreligious Engagement from Chicago Theological Seminary.

Excelling at connectedness, Margot is dedicated to building bridges and promoting understanding and acceptance. She is especially committed to cross-cultural, multi-lingual, and international endeavors, building on her academic background and experiences in living in Japan, Jordan, and South Africa.   She finds motivation from maximizing human potential in a culture of fundamental respect, decency, dialogue, collaboration, kindness and engagement. Her interests include volunteering as a local mental health first aider, pro-bono work related to mediation and dispute resolution, meditation and mindfulness, and studying fractals to understand order in chaos. She offers clients and collaborators a warm smile, a welcoming energy, a non-anxious presence, and a creative and personalized approach to working together.
